To Gloria Aurora Daal, who here at age 7, in her late teens and now in her early 80s was and continues to be the epitome of class and style. A truly remarkable woman, generous in spirit always doing things to give back to those less fortunate and taking up causes that promoted the arts and culture on the island of her birth, Curacao.
You were a woman ahead of your time... entrepreneurial, influential and fluent in several languages with a fierce independent streak that still has us running to keep up with you. We admire your strength and the incredible energy you possess for life. We love you and hold you very dear, our Caribbean Queen. Happy Mother's Day!
